We use Bulgarian pollen from a beekeeper we trust, located in the remote wild countryside. There is a natural abundance of pollen in this location and the beekeeper collects responsibly, so the bees still have plenty to help raise healthy brood.
Our Scottish climate means that Scottish pollen abundnace is a very short period, often followed by pollen dearths, so we don't feel its sensible to collect pollen from our own honeybees. I've used this pollen supply for years and feel its a good fit for Glen Heather.
